THE PHILOSOPHY Developing athletes
"HC Ambrì-Piotta" is a Swiss ice hockey club founded in 1937. It has always been a smaller organization compared to the others. Nevertheless they have been playing in the National League since 1985 and even won the "Spengler Cup" in 2022. Believing in power, strength and speed, they are always interested in promoting and developing young talent, giving them a big role early in their career. The long term goal is to make them stronger and better athletes at all.
The process Life Fitness gives security
When setting up the new gym we've invited the General Manager and the Conditioning Coach to visit other facilities in Switzerland equipped with Life Fitness and Hammer Strength to test the products in advance. There is nothing like experiencing the machines live yourself. And one of the most important things: Our support continues after the installation. When help is needed, we are ready to support.
The equipment Based on performance
The new gym is designed as a performance based training space specifically for hockey players. As usually the whole team trains together, they need a clever room and equipment layout. Several Hammer Strength racks form the center of the room, combined with a lot of free weights, Selectorized strength machines and a Cybex Bravo functional trainer. For endurance training, athletes can work out on cardio equipment from the Elevation series.
